Computer shop burgled
Phagwara, November 7
A computer shop was reportedly burgled in the local central town in the wee hours today. Pankaj, owner of the shop, said the burglars broke open the shutter of the shop and took away valuables worth Rs 2.5 lakhs, including three laptops, 43 pen drives, 35 keyboards, 30 headphones, one PSP, three computer monitors, 15 web cameras, 10 modems, one printer, 45 mouses, 10 speakers, six TV tuner cards, two graphics cards and two computers.

Two drug peddlers arrested
Phagwara, November 7
The Phagwara police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 200 grams of intoxicant powder and 2 kg of puppy husk from their possession. The accused have been identified as Prem Singh of Palahai village and Daljit Singh of Kot-Kalan village.

HPS Khakh, Superintendent of Police, Phagwara, said a case had been registered in this regard.

He added that the police was investigating the matter and had despatched many teams to nab the thieves.

Two drug peddlers arrested

Phagwara, November 7
The Phagwara police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 200 grams of intoxicant powder and 2 kg of puppy husk from their possession. The accused have been identified as Prem Singh of Palahai village and Daljit Singh of Kot-Kalan village.

Superintendent of Police HPS Khakh said both accused were produced before the local judicial magistrate, who sent them to judicial custody.
