Three drug peddlers held

Phagwara, September 17
The local police has arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 21 grams of heroin from their possession.

The arrested persons have been identified as Gurinder Singh, alias Goni, of Ludhiana, Randhir Singh, alias Dheera, of Boparai village, Tarn Taran, and Harkamaljit Singh, Gaggu, of Ludhiana.

HPS Khakh, Superintendent of Police, Phagwara, said the police had nabbed Goni and impounded his car number bearing registration number PB-10DC-3822 near Panchhatt T-point, while Dheera was nabbed near the Dhandholi Bus Stand here today.

He added that all the accused would be produced before the local Judicial Magistrate tomorrow.
