Two killed in head-on collision

Kapurthala, September 8
Two persons have been killed and another injured in a head-on collision between a car and a truck on a bridge near Subhanpur on the Jalandhar-Amritsar National Highway No. 1 today.

The deceased have been identified as Natesh Gupta of Jammu and his maternal uncle Kewal Krishan of Shivala Colony in Amritsar. Nirmal Gupta, father of Natesh, sustained injuries in the collision and has been admitted to a nearby hospital.

According to information, the victims were going from Amritsar to Haridwar. An FIR has been registered. — TNS
