Pall of gloom descends on Bhussa village

Hoshiarpur, December 17
A pall of gloom descended on Bhussa village in Dasuya following the news of the death of NRIs Manjit Kaur (50), wife of Amarjit Singh, her son Manpreet Singh (28) and daughter Jaspreet Kaur, alias Dimple (21), all belonging to Bhussa village but presently residing in the USA, received last evening.

The three were killed when the car in which they along with Amarjit Singh were going from California to the San Francisco airport to meet their relatives met with an accident on December 15. According to family, Amarjit, who sustained injuries in the accident, was admitted to a hospital there.

Amarjit Singh's brother Ranjit Singh said Amarjit was working as a clerk with the SGPC, Amritsar, before he along with his family migrated to the USA. — OC
