Hunt on for fast bowlers, spinners Jalandhar, February 11 The PCA is going to conduct open trials for the selection of budding youngsters in order to spot potential fast bowlers and spinners. Those budding bowlers whose age is between 16 and 18 on September 1, this year may take part in the trials which will start at 10 am. While there is no eligibility of height for spinners, however the PCA will prefer the height for the youngster participating in the trials for fast bowlers around 5'10''. The PCA advised the willing bowlers to carry original date of birth certificates issued by Municipal Corporations or Committees as the case may be at the time of trials. The trials at Burlton Park will be held for the budding bowlers belonging to Jalandhar and neighbouring Kapurthala and Nawanshahr districts. The PCA is conducting trials in various parts of the state to spot potential fast bowlers and spinners from February 12 to 18. |

The PCA will conduct trials for the budding bowlers at PCA Stadium in Mohali for Chandigarh, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib and Ropar on February 12, at Arya College Ludhiana for the players of Ludhiana, Moga and Hoshiarpur districts on February 13, at Gandhi Grounds Amritsar for Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Ferozepur districts on February 15, at Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium in Patiala for Patiala, Sangrur and Barnala districts on February 17 and at Police Public School, Police Lines in Bathinda for the budding fast bowlers and spinners of Bathinda, Faridkot, Mansa and Muktsar districts on February 18.
