Congress workers stage dharna at Sarhali
Tarn Taran, June 17 Harminder Singh Gill, a senior leader of the party, while addressing party workers on the occasion, said the specialists doctors from the Community Health Centres (CHC), Sarhali, Naushehra Pannuan, Ghariala, Kairon, Harike and others have been shifted to other stations in the urban areas. Gill said all specialists doctors from CHC Sarhali have been shifted and only one doctor was left at the the CHC. He said as many as 350 out patients come to the CHC daily and it was not possible for a single doctor to attend all patients. Gill demanded that more posts of specialists doctors be given to CHC Sarhali. He also demanded for the upgrade of health centres of the area to provide more medical facilities. |

Hoshiarpur, June 17 Minister Naresh Thakur, Congress president Rajnish Tandon and many other thanked AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh for inducting Santosh Chaudhary. They hoped that Santosh Chaudhary would leave no stone unturned for the development of this constituency which was lagging behind in the field of development. |
