CM pays obeisance at Tapo-Bhumi
Our Correspondent

Phagwara, June 16
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today visited Khatti village and paid obeisance at Tapo-Bhumi of Lord Purshuram.

Addressing a large gathering, Badal announced a grant of Rs 75 lakh to the Brahmin Sabha, Punjab, for the shrine and appealed to the people to maintain peace.

While referring to a demand of Brahmin Sabha president Devi Dyal Prashar, he announced to lay the foundation stone of the memorials of Bhai Mati Dass, Bhai Sati Dass and Bhai Dyala Dass in Anandpur Sahib in November. Prashar complained to the CM that though the sabha was supporting the SAD-BJP in the state, BJP leaders and ministers were ignoring them.
