DUSU polls: BJP chief credits Modi with ABVP victory
New Delhi, September 13 "Students from all over the country get admission here and the victory of the ABVP in the university shows that the youth consider the government under Narendra Modi as the indicator of change," he said. Due to this factor of change the students of DU made the ABVP candidates victorious by a huge margin of votes, he said. Appreciating the hard work by the
ABVP, Upadhyay said it is not only a student organisation, but also a class of character-building. "Last year when Modi was addressing the students of a college under
DU, the entire atmosphere had become 'modified'. From that time itself it was taken for granted that next year the students of DU would fully support the ABVP and this has proved to be true," he
added. Upadhayay, who himself was the vice-president of DUSU, said it is a matter of pride that many student leaders, including Union minister Arun
Jaitley, are providing a strong leadership to the country and Delhi today. |
