The AAP has been accusing the BJP of luring its MLAs and has also been demanding dissolution of the house. Raising the issue with the Union Home Ministry earlier, the party had written a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh earlier, saying a few of his partymen were trying to poach AAP MLAs. "It is unfortunate that some of your men are indulging in horse-trading and trying to poach our MLAs," the letter said. The party has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding elections. "The matter has been put for hearing tomorrow," Bajpayee said. "The BJP is not keen on conducting elections. Why does not it give in writing to the Lt Governor about this so that election can take place at the earliest," he said. The Delhi BJP should also convey this clearly in a hearing before the Supreme Court on July 4," he said in the letter. An AAP MLA has lodged a complaint with the police, alleging threats from the BJP and said the party was pressurising her to join its fold. |
