Police arrests three with narcotic powder
Amritsar, June 4
The city police has arrested three persons, including a Delhi resident, for possessing narcotics powder. Those arrested are Sarwan Kumar of Khu Kundia, Batala Road, Malkiat Singh of Arjun nagar Bhatha, Chheharta, and Amit Kumar of Jawala Nagar, Sahadra, New Delhi. While Sarwan and Malkit were arrested by the Sadar police, Amit was nabbed by the Cantonment police. The police recovered 530 grams of narcotic powder from Sarwan and Malkit and seized 100 grams of intoxicant powder from Amit. Two separate cases under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against them.— TNS
