He somehow managed to reach the Chief Minister’s residence in Chandigarh today but he was not allowed to meet Amarinder Singh by his staff. Mr Mohinder Singh, a Jagraon-based man, who was allegedly deprived of his ancestral property and had left the city on foot a few days ago to meet the Chief Minister and subsequently the Prime Minister, was told to go back as “the Chief Minister had no time to listen to his complaints.”

Fee hike by DMC irks parents

The Parents Association of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital students held a meeting here yesterday and elected its office-bearers. The meeting discussed the issue of an increase in fee by the DMCH allegedly misquoting a judgement of the Supreme Court to suit their own benefit.
