resolution positive: Putin
Moscow, November 10
Terming the UN Security Council resolution on Iraq as “very positive”, Russian President Vladimir Putin today said it was the result of a compromise acceptable to Moscow. “Once again I want to reiterate that this is a result of a compromise, a compromise acceptable to us. It is the result of joint work by all permanent members of the UN Security Council,” Mr Putin said during a Kremlin meeting with key Cabinet members.
