Missing girl's whereabouts: Police still clueless

Jalandhar, October 23
A 19-year-old girl studying at Government Senior Secondary School, Moro, who went missing from Moro village on Sunday has not been traced so far. Reports said the missing girl was headed to another village. Officials said that investigations were on in the case to trace the girl.

There were speculations that it could be a case of elopement, police is investigating this angle as well.

Apra police station Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pushp Bali said, "We have not been able to find the girl so far but investigations are under progress.”

“A missing complaint has been lodged. We are looking at all possible leads," the Assistant Sub-Inspector said.


EARLIER STORIES

Phillaur police station Sation House Officer (SHO) Kewal Singh said, "I am not aware of the entire case. There are speculations that she left home willingly.

“But we are looking into every aspect of the case and will investigate th same," the Sation House Officer further said.

It has been learnt that a friend from her school helped the girl escape.
