Minister pulls up ill-prepared officials

When Block Development Officer of Samrala was unable to answer any queries, the minister asked him what was the point to come to the meeting without doing the homework.

A day after the arrest of three persons who were issuing pre-activated SIM cards on fake addresses, the police has launched a hunt to nab the employees of the cellular company who were working in connivance with the trio.

25 more cases of dengue surface

Twenty-five persons tested positive for dengue today. As per officials of the health department, 18 patients are from the city while seven are from peripheral areas.
