Election Office for informed, ethical voting
New Delhi, October 24 The celebrities have been enrolled by the Election Office to inspire people to take the walk to the polling booth on December 4. "It is the three objectives in sight that we have designed the 2013 elections motivation and awareness campaign for voters, cent per cent voting, ethical voting and informed voting," said Dev. A voting campaign "Dil mein hai Dilli, Vote karenge" based on these three objectives will be unraveled over the next few weeks in both the print and electronic media. And informed because a voter has the right to know that the details of the candidate he is voting for," he said. Soha, "I want to appeal to the urban youth to come out and participate in voting. If you do not vote, you do not have an opinion and if you do not have an opinion, you cannot blame the government for what it does," said Soha. The integrated campaign of three aims for increasing awareness about voting will be lead through the medium of road shows, jingles on radio and television, banners in buses and Metros, said Dev. |
