New Delhi, October 18 The arrested persons has been identified as Dharmesh, who was caught from Asaram's ashram at Ridge Road. The police claimed that Dharmesh helped Sai escape. Investigators added that Dharmesh will be taken to Gujarat for further questioning. Meanwhile, a lookout notice has already been issued against Sai, who has been named in an FIR of the sexual assault of two girls, both sisters, in Surat, Gujarat. In their complaint, the sisters alleged that the elder one had been sexually assaulted by Asaram between 1997 and 2006 at his ashram. The younger girl has accused Sai of sexually assaulting her between 2002 and 2005 at an ashram in Surat. Sources in the police department said that a team of the Gujarat Police had arrived in Delhi on Tuesday evening after Sai's mobile phone location was traced at ashram in Ridge Road. The Gujarat Police and the Crime Branch raided Sai's suspected hideouts in Najafgarh, Rohini, Jaffarpur Kalan and Ridge Road. "He still managed to escape, because he was reportedly being assisted by his associates," the sources said. Today, amid speculations that Sai may have slipped into Haryana from south-west Delhi, the Gujarat Police arrested Dharmesh after they discovered that he is involved in allegedly hiding Sai.

BJP demands power secy’s removal
