Robbery at house

Hoshiarpur, October 15
Four unidentified dacoits robbed a house owner of gold ornaments, weighing about 5 tolas, and Rs 40,000 at ward No 6, Miani, on the night of October 13. According to the police, four unidentified robbers entered the house of Gurbachan Singh at ward No 6, Miani. They assaulted Gurbachan Singh and stole about 5 tolas gold ornaments and Rs 40,000 and fled from the scene. The Tanda police has registered a case under Sections 458 and 380 of the IPC in this connection.
