Radical Sikhs back memorial

Jalandhar, June 17
Peace in Punjab would not get disturbed with the construction of a memorial at the Golden Temple in memory of those killed in Operation Bluestar as portrayed by the Congress and the BJP, said representatives of various radical Sikh groups, including Dal Khalsa, Khalra Mission Organisation and the Punjab Human Rights Organisation.

Peace in Punjab would not get disturbed with the construction of a memorial, but militancy could be revived in Punjab by a protest against the memorial by activists of the Youth Congress in Amritsar on June 20.— TNS
