3 booked for minor’s rape
Jalandhar, June 16
The Police Division No 8 has booked three persons including a woman on the charge of abducting and raping a minor girl. The girl, a resident of Hargobind Nagar, told the police that a few days ago she met a woman named Sandeep, who befriended her, and took her to Himachal Pradesh. Sandeep was accompanied by her accomplice, identified as Muppy. The girl in her complaint alleged that after developing forcible physical relation with her for a few days in Himachal Pradesh, the duo took her to Moga and made her captive at an undisclosed location. "I was forcibly made captive in a house where Muppy used to rape me everyday. His Moga-based friend Kallu also raped me," she alleged. She claimed that today she managed to escape from the clutches of the accused and apprised her parents about the incident. The girl said in Himachal Pradesh, the accused used to serve her cold drinks having sedatives. When she used to fall unconscious, they raped her. A case under Sections 365 and 376 of IPC has been registered against Sandeep, Muppy and Kallu. All the accused are absconding
