GLADA demolishes nine colonies

To keep a check on illegal residential colonies mushrooming on the outskirts of the city, the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority
(GLADA) today demolished nine colonies located along the Sidhwan Canal Expressway and the Hambran road.

4-member AAI team in city

EVMs to be ready on June 5: DC

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Tewari has said the electronic voting machines (EVMs) to be used during the municipal corporation elections would be prepared on June 5. The candidates contesting the elections could also see these on June 5.
Expressway to have service lane

The Public Works Department has decided to construct a service lane for the safety and security of those residing besides the four-lane expressway project along the Sidhwan Canal. PWD minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon has said that there won’t be any entry point to the expressway for the illegal colonies along this project.

DIMT to start BCom professional course
