India has been the country of sufis, saints and mystics and Khwaja Gharib Nawaz preserved the composite culture of the Ganga-Yamuna civilization through his teachings because of which the country is raising its flag of secularism in the world. People of all faiths visit the 'dargah' of Khwaja. The function was attended by Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal, His Excellency Syed Mehdi Nabizada, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran, Syed Hisamuddin Chisti of Ajmer Sharif and Delhi Minorities Commission member Pushpinder Singh.
