10 buses added to fleet

A fleet of 10 low-floor buses is set to ply on the Ferozepur road route. The buses are likely to start operating from Monday. At present, only 10 low-floor non-AC buses are running on a single route -- from the bus stand to the Jalandhar bypass.

It has been confirmed that the rabbits at Nehru Rose Garden were killed by stray dogs. An inquiry report prepared by the MC Joint Commissioner, AS Sekhon, regarding the death of over a dozen rabbits at the rose garden found that the enclosure where the rabbits were kept had not been repaired ever since the mini-zoo was shifted from the rose garden over a decade ago.
