Rainfall:
Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ambala 1, Himachal Pradesh: Bharwain 1, Punjab: Ludhiana 2 and Kapurthala 1, east Rajasthan: Bansur 1, west Rajasthan: Bhadra 2, east Uttar Pradesh: Basti 10, Jaunpur 9, Banda, Chillaghat and Varanasi 8 each, Kanpur and Regoli 7 each, Mukhlishpur 6, Ayodhya, Katerniaghat and Phaphamau 5 each, Allahabad, Bansi and Mirzapur 4 each, Birdghat, Chhatnag, Elginbridge, Gorakhpur and Sultanpur 3 each, Balrampur 2 and Ballia, Hanumansetu, Khadda, Lucknow, Rae Bareilly and Turtipar 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Narora 6 and Ankinghat 1 and Uttaranchal: Hardwar and Rishikesh 5 each, Haripur 3, Dehra Dun 2 and Bosan, Banbasa and Uttarkashi 1 each.
