Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Nurpur and Sujanpurtira 1 each and Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 5, Banihal 4, Batote and Srinagar 2 each and Jammu 1.

Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell largely in west Uttar Pradesh, fell appreciably in Haryana and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.
Departures:
They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 8.7°C recorded at Pilani (Rajasthan).
