Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. Lowest temperature in the region was 1.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 29: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 29: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
