Yamuna fund disbursed to staff as salaries?

New Delhi: The Akalis have questioned the prudence of a religious institution spending crores of rupees on the interior decoration of a building and asked the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) to stop wasting the gurdwara funds or money received as charity.

Country’s first club to guard consumer interests set up

Grahak Sahayak, Gurgaon, has formed the first Consumer Club in the country at Vazirabad village by the initiative of Mr Sanjay Sethi, its general secretary. In December, this club was formed when Mr Sethi organised the students of Government Model Sr Sec School Vazirabad.

The much-awaited Hindon-Krishni irrigation project was dedicated to the state on January 15 by the Irrigation Minister, Mrs Anuradha Chaudhary, at Daha village in the presence of thousands of farmers and villagers.
