100-odd complaints received by the commission, 99 are of police excesses.

in the year 1948. With this the concept of human rights came into existence all
over the world. However, it was a western concept. In our culture ‘Raj Dharma’
dealing in human rights is an ancient concept. More laws are being made to
protect the rights of vulnerable members of our society like women, children,
physically challenged.
