Rainfall:
Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolatd places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhang 2 and Berthin, Bhuntar, Guler, Kangra, Mandi, Rampurbushar, Sujanpurtira, Sunibhajji and Shimla 1 each and Jammu and Kashmir: Batote and Srinagar 1 each, Snowfall report (cms): Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi 14 and Patsio 2.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell largely in west Rajasthan, fell in Haryana, rose in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.5°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 12: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh.Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 12: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development/light rain in some areas. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 11°C.
