While inaugurating the course, the Deputy Commissioner, Ms Deepti Umashankar, observed that ensuring a better life to its citizens was the major concern of developing nations today. The developing countries should emulate India by ushering in the green revolution. Expressing satisfaction over the relevance of the course, Ms Umashankar said the participants would be able to draw the benefit from HAU which had played a key role in ushering in the green revolution in Haryana.
