Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have reported at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are — Haryana: Tajewala 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kahu 2, East Rajasthan: Udaipur 1 and East Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur 7, Turtipar and Varanasi City 6 each, Bansi 5, Kakrahi and Regoli 4 each, Khadda 3, Birdghat 2 and Ballia, Kakardharighat and Mukhlispur 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 28: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
