Panchayat tells wife to share affections with brother-in-law
Meerut, September 26
A woman would have to share her affections with two brothers. She would have to live for one month each with each brother, the panchayat has ruled ‘ex cathedra’. According to the panchayat decision, her husband would bear the expenses of the wedding of her three children while those of the rest two would be borne by her brother-in-law. Even the local SHO has ratified this decree.

At least half a dozen students, including an office bearer of the Delhi University Students Union ( DUSU), were injured when two groups with different political affiliations clashed in Dayal Singh College this afternoon and again at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where the injured had been taken for medical aid.

No takers for Faridabad unauthorised colonies

The largest urban pocket in the state seems to be on the ‘discrimination list’, at least in the matter of regularising unapproved residential colonies. Faridabad town finds itself missing in the list announced by the Haryana government for regularisation of certain colonies.

From his first audio album `Forgiveness' to the latest ‘Forget Me Not’, Jagjit Singh has travelled a long way as a ghazal singer. He was born in Shri Ganga Nagar in Rajasthan but spent many of his early years in different parts of Punjab, earned his bachelors degree from DAV College, Jalandhar.
