Man goes missing, case registered 

Nawanshahr, April 15 
The police has booked some unknown persons on the basis of a complaint lodged by Charan Singh (62) of Usmanpur village whose son has been missing for two days. 

In his complaint, Charan Singh told the police that his son Kulbir Singh alias Soni (32) went missing from the fields on April 13. He expressed apprehension that his son had been attacked and kidnapped by someone. 

The complainant in his statement said he had sown sugarcane in the field of adjoining Ramgarh village. 

On April 13, he had gone to his field and saw the motorcycle of his son standing there.

He visited the fields in the evening again and spotted bloodstains on the motorcycle. He informed the village sarpanch about the incident. 

A case under Sections 364 and 34 of the IPC has been registered at the Sadar police station. Investigations are on. — OC
