Police dept cluelesss about murder

Jalandhar, April 10
The district police is clueless with regard to the April 1 murder case in which a young woman was first killed and then set ablaze in a vacant plot near Sheikhe village.

The SHO Jaimal Singh said that even as several persons had come to identify the body, no one could relate to it. He said even the forensic experts had so far not given any indication about the murderers.

The burning body of the woman was spotted at 7 am on April1 by Pritam Singh. The body had a burning rubber tyre kept atop owing to which the chest and abdomen area got badly charred. However, the shape of the forehead and face cut remained less affected which perhaps can help in her recognition. — TNS
