Says no plan to join
another party

Mr Bal Thackeray’s
nephew Raj Thackeray today plunged the Shiv Sena into
deeper crisis after he announced his resignation from all
posts in the party. Speaking to reporters outside his
residence, Mr Raj Thackeray reiterated that he would
continue to be an ordinary member of the party and had no
plans to join another.

The historical
procession, believed to be the first of its kind since the
Partition, carrying a golden palki (palanquin) from India
to Nankana Sahib, Pakistan, crossed its way through
Haryana today.

Battery of wireless set spotted on
tracks
Phillaur, November 27
A bomb scare disrupted the rail
traffic for almost one-and-a-half-hour today at the busy New
Delhi-Amritsar twin tracks when a key man of the Railways reported a
bomb-like thing lying on the tracks just after the Railway overbridge
here.

snowfall in Himachal areas

Spiti and Chamba districts in Himachal Pradesh received another spell of
snow for the second successive day today, bringing a sharp drop in the
