The Hooda government in Haryana has assured the Supreme Court that it would abide by any direction passed by it with regard to the premature release of life convicts by the previous Om Prakash Chautala regime.

Probe ordered into Salman’s mob links

The Maharashtra Government today ordered an inquiry into actor Salman Khan’s links with the underworld. Accordingly, the Mumbai police’s Criminal Investigation Department will look into Khan’s alleged claims that he was linked with the underworld and was aware of the serial bomb blasts that rocked Mumbai in March 1993.
