Summit for SMEs at ISB: The Mohali campus of the Indian School of Business
(ISB) today launched a two-day ISB Big Leap Summit on its premises, here today. The Principal Secretary, Union Ministry of SME, Madhav Lal, who was chief guest at the occasion, also assured that the Central government would render its full support for all initiatives, aiming at placing the SMEs on a high growth trajectory.

Work on diversion channel suspended:The work on the diversion channel being constructed by UP Irrigation Department was suspended for a day as villagers from the Lohiahead locality sought compensation for losses they suffered due to the channel breach last week. “We will not let the construction take place until the UP Government compensates farmers and residents who suffered losses due to the negligence of UP irrigation officers,” said Pushkar Singh Dhami, local MLA from Khatima.Nainital
