Pilgrim dies of cardiac arrest

A pilgrim, Kasbal Kundal Swami (50), of Trimul in Tamil Nadu on his way back from Amarnath Yatra died due to a cardiac arrest at Chachoki village near Phagwara this afternoon.

Pilgrim dies of cardiac arrest

Phagwara, July 3
A pilgrim, Kasbal Kundal Swami (50), of Trimul in Tamil Nadu on his way back from Amarnath Yatra died due to a cardiac arrest at Chachoki village near Phagwara this afternoon.

He was returning from the pilgrimage in a jatha and the pilgrims’ bus halted at a dhaba to provide light refreshment to the pilgrims, when the man collapsed. He was immediately admitted to the local Civil Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The cause of the death was described as cardiac arrest due to excessive heat, doctors said.
