The organisation members staged a dharna in front of the office of Er Khehra. They alleged that the official attacked a worker of the organisation when he had gone to discuss problems related to the farmers.

Pargat Singh Jamarai, state leader of the ZKS, has alleged that the farmer Manjit Singh was assaulted by the officer in his office.

Jagjit Singh Suchu, Deputy Chief Engineer of the local circle of Powercom, in his complaint to the district police, alleged that a farmer Manjit Singh of Kot Mohammad Khan village who alongwith other members of the ZKS forcibly entered in the office of Er Khehra allegedly threatened if the official failed to regularise the tubewell connection in his fields.

Suchu alleged that the workers of the ZKS also threatened Er Khehra to frame him in some false case on the basis of a fake Medico Legal Report.

ZKS members lifted the dharna after DSP of the local sub division, Daljit Singh Dhillon, assured him that action would be taken against the Powercom official after receiving MLR.
