Con men held for duping woman

Two tricksters who used to dupe people of ornaments on the pretext of gold polish were caught after a long chase by a Sector 55 woman here today.
The accused have been identified as Khantar Kumar Shah and Mantoo, both residents of Bihar. They were later taken for medical examination and would be produced in the court tomorrow.

VAT Returns
e-filing made mandatory

The UT Excise and Taxation Department has made e-filing of VAT returns mandatory for all those dealers whose annual turnover is above Rs 1 crore for manufacturing units and Rs 2 crore for trading units. This would be applicable for those dealers too whose ITC (Input Tax Credit) refund is more than Rs 1 lakh during the
preceding year.
