residents lose voting right
Mohali, December 24
The orders have been issued for the deletion of 15 names,
including that of a former municipal councillor, from the revised
electoral rolls for the coming Assembly elections.

The Chandigarh Sahitya Akademy organised “Kahani
Poorvanha”, a forenoon of short stories today at the academy hall.
Welcoming the writers, the Akademy Chairman, Dr Naresh, observed that
listening to a story could be as enjoyable as the poetry.
