Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chhachhrauli, Karnal and Panchkula 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bhuntar 4, Barsar, Kahu and Sujanpurtira 3 each, Bhang, Bharwain, Dhundhi and Shimla 2 each and Rampur Bushahar 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 2, Punjab: Batala 4, east Rajasthan: Aspur, Loharia and Pratapgarh 5 each, Chhoti Sadri and Sabla 4 each, Arthuna, Jagraon, Makrana, Nithuwa, Sagwara and Sallumber 3 each, Arnod, Bagidora, Chikli, Dungla, Dhambola, Garhi, Nimbahera and Parvatsar 2 each and Bayana, Banswara, Bhilwara, Gangrar and Udaipur AP 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Elginbridge 2 and Raebareilly 1, West Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 11, Bareilly 2 and Agra 1 and Uttaranchal: Hardwar, Joshimath, Kalagarh, Rishikesh and Tehri 3 each, Banbasa 2 and Dehra Dun, Rudraprayaga and Srinagar 1 each.
