Ayurveda industry cries for attention

Leading ayurvedic experts today accused the government of encouraging quackery. They pointed out that people having no knowledge of ayurveda were heading the licensing bodies for the ayurvedic drug industry in the state.

Traffic in the city has been thrown into disarray by some contractors working on the flyover project. They have started digging the main Katcheri road linking the Civil Lines with the old city through the Do Moria Bridge much before the present operations on the flyover are completed.

The new hospital wing of ESIC Model Hospital became operational today. Dr Hardial Singh, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, said new hospital building would accommodate 262 indoor patients.
