“Thank you Delhi,” she said when asked how she felt at coming back to power again. “The people of NCT of Delhi have reposed confidence in my party and given it a mandate to carry forward the work of development for which I don’t have words to thank them”. She said the vote was also against the policies of the Union Government, which tried to create a number of problems for the Government of NCT of Delhi and tried to clip its wings.

CAS implementation: HC quashes notification

The Delhi High Court today quashed a Central government notification deferring the implementation of Conditional Access System for Cable TV in Delhi indefinitely on account of the Assembly elections.

ABN Amro Bank cheated of Rs 4 lakh
Noida, December 4
A youth, who had presented a fake cheque with forged signature, drew Rs 4.50 lakh from ABN Amro Bank Noida. While another miscreant who had come to draw Rs 3 lakh from fictitious cheque had been caught by the bank employees and handed over to the police. Bank employees are in a state of shock at the withdrawal of money by forged signatures.

Heroin worth Rs 1 cr seized
New Delhi, December 4
The Delhi Police Narcotics Cell has arrested five persons in three different cases and seized 25 kilograms of diazepam and one kilogram of heroin from their possession. While the value of the seized heroin is worth Rs 1 crore in the international market, the value of the seized diazepam is Rs 2.5 lakh. 

Four killed in accidents
Faridabad, December 4
At least four persons lost their lives in the district during the past 24 hours. According to reports, a youth identified as Satya, a resident of Bela village was killed after the motorcycle, he was riding collided with a tractor-trolley near Mandhavali village last evening.
