Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 39.0° C recorded at Jalore (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region.The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.4° C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 24: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood until the morning of March 24: Partly cloudy sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34° C and 18°C, respectively.
