Pak shelling disrupts traffic Srinagar, October 10 Official sources told UNI that heavy mortar and artillery shelling by Pakistani troops was witnessed in the Dras sector since last evening. Security installations and a bridge on the highway were the main targets. The sources said most of the shells fell at Morad, Braras and Dari close to the Line of Control in the Dras sector forcing people to move to safer places. More than 20 shells fell around a bridge on the highway, 2 km from the Dras sector. However, none of them hit the bridge. It was a desperate attempt by Pakistani troops to snap the road communication to Kargil by targeting the bridge, the sources said.
