Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ambala AP, Dadupur and Tajewala 1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Berthin, Dharamsala, Nahan and Sunibhajji 3 each, Kahu, Paonta, Shimla and Una 2 each, and Kasol and Rampurbushahr 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam 1; Punjab: Ropar 2; east Rajasthan: Urmilsagar 5, Hingota and Talabsai 3 each, Bahadurpur and Bari 2 each, and Angai, Dholpur, Ramgarh and Rajakhera 1 each; east Uttar Pradesh: Katerniaghat 4, Banda, Dalmau, Ghazipur, Hardoi and Lucknow AP 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 9, Mohana 7, Kalpi 3, Bareilly 2 and Auraiya, Mainpuri and Mathura 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Joshimath 3, Dehra Dun and Tehri 2 each; and Uttarkashi and Haripur 1 each.
