Monsoon has been vigorous in East Uttar Pradesh and active in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in West Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Delhi ridge 3, New Delhi (Safdarjung), Nilokheri and Pehowa 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Shimla 6, Kasol 5 Sundernagar 3, Bhanjar and Pandoh 2 each and Jubbal, Rampur Bushar and Sunibhaji 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 2, Punjab: Adampur and Batala 1 each, Elginbridge 8, Palliakalan, Rae Bareilly and Shardanagar 6 each, Chanderdeepghat, Lucknow and Neemsar 5 each, Auraiya, Bareilly, Kalpi, Mohana and Mukhlispur 3 each, Basti, Bhatpurwaghat and Katerniaghat 2 each and Ghazipur, Jhansi, Sultanpur and Turtipar 1 each and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 5, Banbasa 3 and Mukteshwar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of 28th June: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in West Rajasthan.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.
