New Delhi, November 14
The AAP has accused its political rivals and the Delhi Police of targeting its election hoardings and posters across the capital and harassing auto-rickshaw drivers who are supporting the party.

The party has received over 3,000 complaints from auto-rickshaw drivers either in person or through its helpline and in this regard has also written to the Delhi Election Commission, but this has not stopped, lamented party leaders.

"We have approached to the Election Commission as many of our supporters and auto-rickshaw drivers have been harassed by authorities and the police for putting posters. This is in clear violation to the instructions of the commission," said AAP national secretary Pankaj Gupta.

Alleging that political parties are resorting to cheaper tactics and targeting the AAP and its supporters, spokesperson for the AAP said apparently they are running a campaign against auto-rickshaws, which carry party's posters and this been happening regularly even as all this has been done legally after securing all requisite permissions. In charge of AAP's auto-rickshaw campaign Karan Singh said that the party in run-up-to elections has put up hoardings at over 200 public utilities across Delhi but at more than 50 per cent of those sites, the hoardings have been allegedly either torn off or damaged.
