NIT faculty forum seeks change in grade pay
Jalandhar, March 15

Members of the National Institute of Technology Faculty Forum are up in arms against the administration for not implementing their demands since a long time.

In a press statement issued by the forum, it has been mentioned that they have not been paid their salaries for the past 15 days. They have also demanded regularisation of release of salary in the future. The members, including Pramod Kumar, MD Roy, Dinesh Shukla and Rajeev Kukreja said nothing had been done for their pay fixation owing to which they were suffering financial losses.

They said no information had been provided to them by the institute regarding the date of CAS interviews, owing to which their seniority was affected. They have also sought grade pay changes, PhD, MTech and MPhil increments. — TNS
