New Delhi, January 5
A Delhi court today took cognisance of the chargesheet filed by the police in the alleged gang rape case of a 23-year-old trainee physiotherapist. The police has been told to produce five of the six accused, excluding the juvenile, in court on January 7.

Minor raped in Faridkot, forced to consume poison
Faridkot, January 5
The Faridkot police on Saturday booked three youths for allegedly raping a minor girl and then forcing her to eat a poisonous substance. While two of the accused have been arrested, the victim is in hospital where her condition is stated to be critical.

BPO employee ‘raped’, found dead in Noida
Noida, January 5
A 21-year-old woman employee of a garment factory, who was missing since last night while returning from a call centre where she worked, was found murdered near her house here today, with police suspecting that she might have been raped.
